Film Story: This whole project began as a college pipe dream about 18 years ago at the University of Tulsa. Two friends, fraternity brothers wanted to write a movie. As we approached our 40s we decided it was time to stop procrastinating and write. At the same time we immersed ourselves in computers and technology. We wanted to write Americana. We wanted to write about the American dream. But most of all we wanted to learn and write. We did in 2002 and developed the story of Danny Markham, a laid-off engineer who finds happiness and independence as a neighborhood grocery shopper for suburban housewives. Markham is sensitive, organized and witty. This story is his. Told through the creative use of voice overs and shot on mini-digital DV format. The movie is on the way in 2003. -80,0002B |
