On The Shanna Show is a childrens television reality show.
It features Shanna Lee who takes our kids on exciting adventures by exploring interesting and often exciting topics.
What's Going On:
April 21, 2004: All music was added including two theme songs. "Can You Imagine" is the closing signature song performed by Joe Miller, while the show's pivotal embedded track is Billy King's "Travel Song." Final editing has been completed and a music video for Travel Song rounds out the 19 minute, 25 second pilot package. Design has begun on cover art with impending marketing to begin very soon. Stay tuned for details...Can you imagine?
March 4, 2004: A must in the home! Hanavan and writing partners keep the creative screenwriting dream alive
March 4, 2004: Uncle Joe (our cool-daddy musician) reports: "I'm mailing a CD today. It contains two instrumentals and a scratch recording of the theme Can You Imagine? I found a singer to help with the final recording; expect a better quality version in the near future. The finished song will be nearly the exact same length as the scratch version. Let me know what you think?
Also, local San Diego band Lighter's music will be included in the pilot as well.
February 28, 2004: additional video footage taken at MCAS Miramar and in Poway, including Old Poway Park. Our editing work is progressing nicely and we're excited about future possibilities. More soon. Music production is wrapping up.
February 1, 2004: Design work begins on our glitzy "On The Shanna Show" website (real domain and everything!) which will be at www.ontheshannashow.com soon. It is being designed and hosted by WeBo Design Inc., Clover, South Carolina (www.webodesign.com). A big thank you to Rob Foster and Chad Thomas for their help. Check back soon for the big Internet presence show.
January 11, 2004: final footage was filmed. Begin the editing process.
November 21, 2003: The critics speak. Our first feedback: "I love the Shanna website! Fun concept that will definitely go places!" -Sky Barnhart, Editor and Copywriter.
November 17, 2003: Brett & Shanna work on lyrics to "Can You Imagine" a tune that will ultimately become On The Shanna Show's theme song. The melody, music and ultimate recording of it will be done by "Uncle Joe" Miller in Charlotte, North Carolina.
November 8, 2003: The "Seaport Village Shoot" was completed (well, about 3/4 of the way) at Seaport Village in San Diego. Jennifer & Justin Chue joined the group that was directed by Kevin Curry. Miss Shanna rocks! Thanks to our crew for their loyal and helpful support.
October 24-27, 2003: "Stock Core" transportation footage shot without talent at Laughlin, Nevada, Bullhead City, Arizona, Lake Mohave and various locations along the way.
