• November 8, 2003: The "Seaport Village Shoot" was completed (well, about 3/4 of the way) at Seaport Village in San Diego. Jennifer & Justin Chue joined the group that was directed by Kevin Curry. Miss Shanna rocks! Thanks to our crew for their loyal and helpful support.

• October 4, 2003: Video shoot at the San Diego Trolley Station at Old Town.

• September 5, 2003: Video shoot at MCAS Miramar. On the tarmac, in the hanger, rockin' in the U.S.A. good time. This was our first shoot. A big thank you to Mark Stanton for arranging the event. Noise was a concern as several pilots were taking morning runs. The day was warm. Video previewed in the afternoon. The following day was the West Coast Premier of Clean Up Aisle 3. We may return for some redo's and/or some additional footage at the museum there on base. The shoot was directed by Tom Bennett of 80,0002B Productions...Assistant Director, camera Kevin Curry. Kids were Brooke Hanavan, Hannah Stanton, Jackson Stanton, and Virginia Stanton. Rainman Rides On!

• July 12-September 14, 2003: There were 14 documented changes to the script for the first pilot. The editing process continued. Ideas for future shows were documented.

• July 11, 2003: Final rough draft of script and concept completed. The script for the “JUST LIKE ME (THE SHANNA SHOW)” 1st show outline – Pilot of sorts was written by Hanavan and Stanton. The first of several in a series of entertaining, educational children’s television shows. The series is designed to present a “role-model” mom in a direct, kid’s real TV setting where our hostess is a personality that is friend’s with kids, yet a traditional parental authority figure with traditional American values. She is meant to be nurturing, entertaining, informative and educational. It was soon after this that we quickly decided to scrap the camera is the child and a non-verbal communicator concept. All scenes were to be photographed as if the camera is a child among the children in the show and is viewing and relating to Miss Shanna.
